The Reading Express and Grand Slam Sports Complex have announced today that the next Open Try-Out for The Express will be Saturday Night November 29th.
Kicker Registration – 7:15 PM
Combine Player Registration – 7:30-8:30 PM
Kickers on the field from 7:30-8:30 – time may be reduced depending on kicker turn out
Combine Players on the field at 8:30 PM – 11 PM
The fee for Kickers is $40 and the fee for the Combine Players is $50. There is NO fee if you attended the first try-out in October.

As the 08 season has come to a close its never too late to start thinking about 09. I am taking this time to ask anyone who is interested in helping out with Booster Club functions/activities to reply back so we can meet and discuss things further. 08 has been the best season that the booster club has had but there is so much more that i'd like to accomplish. We provided snacks for the players on road games 6 of 8 weeks. We also took 5 members of the Steam Team out to Erie on June 7th to perform which was a 1st in the league and we finally organized a successful bus trip (standing room only). Having a club staff who can come up with ideas, plan, organize & run events etc etc would be a huge step in achieving more goals. As most of you know i have been doing all of the work myself but with your help we can do more. I can also tell you that the players appreciate the snacks and the Booster Club very much. Lets get together and come up with more ideas/events to make 09 our best year yet!
